As you know by now (or a few of you we didn't catch at home will hopefully know this weekend!), we are having a baby! We had our ultrasound today, and everything looks great! Peanut's heartbeat was 172 I think - which sounds insane to me, but they said that was great! We could see the little legs kicking and arms moving around. The ultrasound tech said it was "an active baby with legs we could definitely see" - yep, that would be the Meyer's baby!! Haha!
So, the actual due date is November 10th. I'm actually not as far along as they thought - I was 9 weeks on Tuesday, not 10. So, baby is due then - so, so exciting!! We will be able to find out the beginning of July if it is a boy or girl, and yes, we will be finding out!! Gotta find out what color that nursery should be!!
Thank you for all of your prayers! The doctor said I am categorized as "High Risk" pregnancy because of the M.S., but that in no way affects the baby or its development. It is just classified as that because of the risks it poses for me not being on meds, etc, etc. But, God is so good and my MRI's were so wonderful in January despite being off my medications since July, so we will just keep saying prayers.
Anyhow, we will keep you updated as time goes on! Peanut is about an inch in length this week - literally the size of a peanut :)!! We are just so excited and cannot wait to meet our little man or little princess in November!!
Take care & happy Easter to you all!
Love, Emily & Jared
Here are a couple of pics - my scanner isn't working, so I had to take pictures of the ultrasound pics - not the greatest, but you get the idea :)!!!
